Guardion Health Sciences, Inc., a specialty health sciences company that develops, formulates and distributes condition-specific medical foods, has engaged Zer0 to 5ive to conduct a primary research study with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists, a consumer survey and a secondary research study into the market for diagnostics and treatments for macular protective pigment depletion, a known risk factor for age-related macular degeneration (“AMD”). The results of this research will help inform the messaging for Guardion Health Sciences, its MapcatSF MPOD diagnostic tool and Lumega-Z, the only medical food created to restore and maintain the macular pigment.
