Sony AI, a multi-year client for 0to5, recently launched the research results of its Ace project, an AI-driven robotic system designed to compete with professional table-tennis players. The research was featured on the cover of Nature and to date has garnered more than 1800 articles across more than 60 countries worldwide, including feature articles from AP, Reuters, New Scientist, NBC News, Tech Brew, and more. This is the first time a robot has been able to beat experts in a table tennis competition, highlighting significant advancements in imaging, sensing, and reaction time.
